Republican moneyer, known only from his coins. These are marked L·ANTES GRAG[V] (with ANTE as a monogram) and sometimes with a jackdaw (‘graculus’, an allusion to the moneyer’s cognomen). He may be the L. Antestius mentioned in a Senate decree de agro Pergamo.
