The Inscription reads: Imperator Caesar Domitianus Augustus Germanicus, Consul Sextum Decimum, Censor Perpetuus, Pater Patriae – Supreme commander (Imperator), Caesar, Domitian, emperor (Augustus), conqueror of the Germans, consul for the 16th time, censor for life, father of the nation.

Reverse: VIRTVTI AVGVSTI S C – Virtus standing right, resting foot on helmet, holding spear and parazonium 

The inscription reads: Virtuti Augusti. Senatus Consultum – To the courage of the emperor. Decree of the senate.
