Obverse: TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR P IMP – Head of Claudius, bare, left 

The inscription reads: Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus, Pontifex Maximus, Tribunicia Potestate, Imperator, Pater Patriae – Tiberius Claudius Caesar, emperor (Augustus), high priest, holder of tribunician power, supreme commander (Imperator), father of the nation. 


Reverse: S C – Minerva, helmeted and draped, advancing right, levelling javelin in right hand and shield in left 

The inscription reads: Senatus Consultum – Decree of the senate.
